Frisco, Texas is a rapidly growing city a little north of Dallas. There’s so many things to do here, but these are the six best activities to add to your Frisco TX Summer Bucket List!
Frisco Roughriders Baseball Game:
Baseball is a must do in the summer! Frisco has it’s own minor league baseball team, so it’s a must for the Frisco TX Summer Bucket List. The stadium is awesome with fairly inexpensive seats and great stadium food.
It’s also the only baseball stadium I know that has a lazy river you can watch the game from! How perfect is that?!? No worries about the Texas summer heat when chilling in the lazy river! This is open to ticket holders on Sunday, 21 and older on Thursday games and for private events.
Here is their schedule for the 2022 season.
They play at Riders Field:
7300 Roughriders Trail Frisco, TX 75034
Frisco Water Park
Frisco has an awesome water park in the Frisco Athletic Center! There are several water slides, a water playground area for the younger kids and a lazy river. Perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day!
Frisco Athletic Center:
5828 Nancy Jane Lane Frisco, TX 75035
Limestone Quarry Park
This is one of the best hidden gems in Frisco, TX! This looks like a regular park at first with a playground, walking trails and a pavilion. However when you explore near the creek, you’ll find dirt trails that lead down to the creek.
And this creek is beautiful with clear running water! There’s a mini waterfall and swimming hole which is perfect for cooling off in the summer!
It can be a little challenging to find. My best tip is to head to the sidewalk by the creek and look for a bench. There will be a very small trail on the other side of the sidewalk that leads down to the creek.
Tip: Wear water shoes if you plan on getting in the water! The rocks are rough, but can also be slippery when wet.
6300 Maltby Dr. Frisco, TX 75035
Frisco Snow Cone Lady
This ice cold treat is perfect to add to your Frisco TX Bucket List! The Frisco Snow Cone Lady makes amazing snow cones! There are around 60 different flavors to choose from for your shaved ice treat. Just so you know, the line can get long! It’s a local favorite!
6427 Elm Street Frisco, TX 75034
