The Linq Promenade is my new go to in Las Vegas. It’s located right off the Strip between The Linq Hotel and The Flamingo. There are excellent restaurants, fun activities and tons of shopping! It’s a destination in itself. The perfect place to spend a few hours or an evening out. Here are 5 things that you must experience when visiting!

The High Roller on the Linq Promenade

You can’t miss this giant observation wheel! At 550 feet, it’s the tallest one in the US! It has 28 cabins with floor to ceiling glass windows and each cabin can hold up to 40 people. The wheel completes a full rotation in approximately 30 minutes.

We went at night and had an excellent view of the Las Vegas lights. We were even able to see the Bellaigo fountains in the distance. I bet sunset would be another beautiful time to visit!

They offer a happy half hour ride which includes an open bar during your rotation. There is also the option to purchase a drink before getting on the High Roller.

Minus5 ICEBAR

If you haven’t been to an Ice Bar, it should be on your bucket list! This is the coolest experience in Vegas! Literally. You’ll walk into a winter wonderland where EVERYTHING is made out of ice! The bar, decor, tables, chairs, benches and even glasses are created from the 90 tons of ice.

Since it is rather cold in there, they offer coats and gloves for everyone. We did the VIP Experience which includes the use of a faux fur coat, souvenir gift, digital photo and two cocktails. The fur coat was fun to wear and the souvenir gift was a warm hat that came in handy while inside the ice bar.

Our bartender, Molly, was awesome! She made the best drinks and offered to take our picture multiple times. She even helped us out on the bar scavenger hunt.

Tip- For a better chance of having the place almost to yourself, go on a weekday when it first opens. This is when we came and we were the only ones in there for at least 30 minutes. If you’d rather have a more lively crowd experience, visit on a weekend night.

Highly recommend this at least once. Such a fun vibe and experience!

Museum of Selfies

For those of you that LOVE to take fun photos, this is perfect for you! There are so many photo opportunities you’ll be in selfie heaven!

My favorite displays were the bathtub full of gold, the pool of selfie balls and the sideways bedroom.

I recommend bringing a friend, but a tripod will work too. Plus staff members are sometimes around to help take a picture for you. There is an option to hire a professional photographer as well.

FlyLinq

Soar 114 feet above the Linq Promenade on the FlyLinq. This is the only place you can zipline on the Las Vegas Strip.

I haven’t been able to experience this yet, because the weather wasn’t cooperating the day we tried to visit. However, I know I’m going to love it, so I couldn’t leave it off the list.

Candy Martini Bar

For all of you with a sweet tooth, you’ve got to visit the Candy Martini Bar! I know this is the second bar I’ve put on this list, but I promise it’s a fun experience too!

The Candy Martini Bar is located in the I Love Sugar store on the second floor. You must be 21 and older to enter and they check every ID.

There are several martinis to choose from and they are GIANT! It is $45 for a giant martini, so we only got one and shared. The presentation is awesome! Depending on the drink you choose, there will be candy or gummies and all have a dry iced fog effect.

Bonus: Eat on The Linq Promenade

I’m all about food, so I had to mention a few tasty options here. They have fast casual and sit down restaurants on the Linq Promenade.

Guy’s Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar is located in the Linq hotel. I’ve eaten here a few times now and the food is always fantastic! The Trashcan Nachos are a MUST! The presentation alone is a must see! And the burgers are excellent. The service has varied, but the food makes up for it.

If you’re craving fish & chips, Gordon’s Fish & Chips is the best in Vegas! It’s a fun casual counter service with a British theme. Plus if you’re a big Gordon Ramsey fan, you just have to try it! The Sticky Toffee shake is delicious!!

Hash House A Go Go offers delicious breakfast options. It’s further in the Linq hotel on the second floor, but worth the walk! They are usually on an hour wait so be prepared.

There are MANY other options available as well, but I haven’t had a chance to try them all. One day!

Oh and of course there’s In & Out. One of my favorite burger fast food restaurants. However, I’d only eat here if you don’t have one where you live. I love trying new places when I travel, so I don’t usually recommend too many chains.

Summary of The Linq Promenade

There’s so much to do in Las Vegas, but The Linq Promenade should be at the top of the list! I’ve only named some of the attractions, but there are many more that can easily fill a day. I’m planning on going back to try out some of the others in the future.

Parking at The Linq Promenade

There is a dedicated parking lot behind the High Roller. I believe you can also park in the Linq or Flamingo hotel parking lots.
