AndiWe stayed at the Mirage in August of 2022 and had a wonderful time! There’s so much to do that we didn’t leave the hotel for at least 24 hours. If we had more time, we would have stayed the weekend. Here are seven reasons to visit The Mirage while in Las Vegas.
Disclaimer: I know recently the Hard Rock Hotel has acquired The Mirage and plans to renovate, so this information will be out of date at some point.
Reasons to Visit The Mirage #1- Stay
We stayed here and enjoyed our room. It was a regular room with an obstructed view, but the price was good. Plus it was very clean and that’s one of the most important things to me. The location is great! Middle of the Strip, walking distance to several other attractions, hotels and casinos.
#2 – Pool
The Mirage has three pools. I’ve only been in the main one and I loved it. It’s a beautiful pool with waterfalls flowing in the middle. The water was cold, even in August! They have fun dolphin floaties to use and relax on.
As far as the other pools, I did not see them or use them, so I can’t really comment on them. One is a private pool and the other is a Bare pool aka swimsuit optional.
#3 Beatles LOVE
Beatles Love is a Cirque de Soleil production. In fact, this was on my bucket list and the first Cirque show we watched! It made me want to watch ALL of them, so that’s the new goal 🙂 There are crazy amazing acrobatics choreographed to Beatles music, so what’s not to love?! Some of their greatest hits are played out in front of you. I highly recommend this show if you are a Beatles fan and even if you are not.
#4 Aces of Comedy
In there Aces of Comedy theater, they showcase different comedians throughout the year. Usually big acts that you would want to see. We saw Ron White and he was hilarious! Unfortunately, it was his last year touring, but we’ll be back to see others perform there.
#5 Shin Lim: Limitless
Limitless is a new and exciting magic show! Shin Lim won America’s Got Talent TWICE! I have not personally seen this show yet, because we ran out time. However it is on my Vegas list and I can’t wait to see it.
#6 The Volcano Show
The Volcano out front of the hotel erupts nightly at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 PM. The show lasts about 15 minutes and its a MUST SEE! Get there early to get a good spot in front of the volcano. Best part is that it is free!
Reasons to Visit The Mirage #7- The Food
The restaurants here are fantastic! We ate at Osteria Costa for dinner. They serve coastal Italian and it was some of the best pasta I’ve had! The pasta is made in house daily. The service was terrific as well.
The Pantry has limited hours during the day, but they offer room service 24 hours a day. We tried the room service late one night and enjoyed the sandwiches.
There are many restaurants to choose from: World renowned Tom Colicchio’s Steakhouse, The Stack, Otoro a Japanese style dining, pizza, Mexican and more.
Reasons to Visit The Mirage Summary
Overall, we enjoyed our time at The Mirage. These are the top seven reasons to visit the Mirage. The pool was fun, the shows were fantastic, and the food was exceptional! I will be back to experience more.
